Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

Agreement to Terms

By booking a hunt or using the Lone Oak Adventures website (loneoakadventures.net), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with a booking. These terms apply to all guests, hunters, and visitors.

Bookings & Deposits

All hunts must be reserved in advance. A deposit is required to secure your dates and is non-refundable unless Lone Oak Adventures cancels the hunt due to circumstances within our control. The remaining balance is due upon arrival at the ranch.

Lone Oak Adventures reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking at our discretion. In the event we cancel, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made by the guest are non-refundable. We understand that life happens — if you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.

No-shows forfeit all deposits and payments made. Lone Oak Adventures is not responsible for travel costs, lodging outside the ranch, or other expenses incurred by guests in connection with a cancelled or rescheduled hunt.

Licenses & Legal Compliance

All hunters are responsible for obtaining valid Texas hunting licenses and any required tags or stamps prior to arrival. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable Texas Parks & Wildlife regulations, federal migratory bird laws, and any other applicable laws.

Lone Oak Adventures is not liable for any fines, penalties, or legal consequences resulting from a guest's failure to hold proper licenses or comply with hunting regulations.

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Hunting is an inherently dangerous activity. By booking a hunt with Lone Oak Adventures, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with hunting, including but not limited to: firearm handling, terrain hazards, wildlife encounters, weather conditions, and physical exertion.

Lone Oak Adventures, its owners, guides, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any injury, death, property damage, or loss of any kind arising from participation in a hunt or any activities on the ranch property.

All guests may be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival before participating in any hunt.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by guides at all times
  • Handle all firearms safely and in accordance with Texas law
  • Respect the land, wildlife, and other guests on the property
  • Arrive sober and remain responsible throughout the hunt
  • Disclose any physical limitations or medical conditions that may affect participation
  • Leave the property and facilities in the condition in which they were found

Lone Oak Adventures reserves the right to remove any guest from the property for unsafe, disrespectful, or unlawful behavior without refund.

Trophy & Harvest Policy

Lone Oak Adventures provides field dressing and basic trophy care as part of all packages. Guests are responsible for arranging taxidermy, meat processing, and transport of harvested animals beyond what is included in their package. We are not responsible for the condition of trophies or meat after they leave the ranch.

Photography & Media

By participating in a hunt at Lone Oak Adventures, you grant us permission to photograph or film your hunt for use in our marketing materials, website, and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify your guide before the hunt begins.

Changes to These Terms

Lone Oak Adventures reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
