Texas is home to some of the most exciting Rio Grande turkey hunting in the country — and Lone Oak Adventures puts you right in the middle of it. Our South Texas properties hold strong populations of birds that respond aggressively to calling, making for the kind of close-range encounters that get your heart pounding.
Season runs from the 2nd weekend of March through the end of April. We set up before first light and work gobblers from roost to strut. Our guides are expert callers who know how to read a bird and close the distance. Whether you're a seasoned turkey hunter or stepping into the woods for the first time, we'll put you in position to succeed.
We also offer combination hunts pairing turkey with whitetail or exotics for hunters who want to make the most of their trip.
